PATROLS have been stepped up at car parks in Southbourne following reports of anti-social behaviour.

Motorbikes and large groups of vehicles have been gathering at car parks including Hengistbury Head and Southbourne beach.

Officers from the Southbourne Neighbourhood Policing Team said they regularly receive reports and concerns from members of the public.

Public warned after illegal camp fire on bowling green

A spokesman said: "We receive reports about motorbikes and vehicles gathering in large groups and riding or driving in a dangerous and anti-social manner."

Officers said all was in order during the latest patrols but added: "We will be back."
