A special open week to view and purchase a choice of stunning independent-living apartments with far-reaching views over Poole takes place next week.

Vista in Parkstone and Esprit in Poole town centre will be open to the public to view by appointment only from Monday 17 May to Sunday 23 May.

During the event, property viewers can choose their perfect home within the exclusive Platinum Skies communities for people aged over 55 to reserve and purchase.

Enhanced Covid-safe measures will be in place for the benefit of the homeowners, visitors, and the Platinum Skies team.

Bournemouth Echo:

The Vista community in Mount Road, Parkstone, features a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments to choose from, many of which have a balcony or terrace, undercroft parking, homeowners’ lounge, treatment room, activity room, and communal landscaped gardens.

Over at Esprit in High Street North, Poole, there are a host of one and two-bedroom open plan purpose-built apartments in the town centre which have the benefit of parking, a communal homeowners’ lounge, and a bistro area. Pets are welcome at all Platinum Skies properties.

Each apartment has been designed with accessibility in mind, including bathrooms with step-free showers, easy-to-use kitchens with energy-saving appliances and underfloor heating.

The communities also feature a dedicated onsite Community Manager who supports the homeowners to lead an independent lifestyle through practical and emotional support, while boosting their wellbeing through a host of shared activities such as quizzes, coffee mornings, book clubs and live entertainment.

Prices start from £105,500 for an apartment in Espirit and £150,000 for an apartment in Vista, based on the buyer paying 50% of the property’s full market value. The homes in Poole are made affordable as part of a government-backed shared ownership scheme delivered in partnership with Homes England.

Mike Lyons, Operations Director of Platinum Skies, said: “As the government lockdown restrictions ease, we have a long list of people looking to move into a home in Poole. They have told us that they have been stuck in their family home which is now more than they need and they are looking to take the next step towards a more independent, financially-secure future.”
