A MAN has come forward after a woman was bitten by a dog in Poole.
At around 9am on Thursday, April 8, the victim, a local woman aged in her 20s, was running near Northmere Road.
As she went past a man who was walking two Beagles, one of them bit her.
The dog owner apologised to the victim and asked if she was all right, but she did not notice that she had sustained injuries until she returned home.
Following a witness appeal, the owner of the dog – a man aged in his 50s from Poole – has come forward and is assisting officers with their investigation. No arrests have been made.
