A MAN has been spared an immediate prison term after he admitted possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Jeremy Nana Amoako, 22, was handed a suspended sentence from magistrates sitting in Poole on April 16.
The court heard that the defendant, whose address was given as Banfield Road, London, allegedly had cannabis in his possession in Bournemouth on May 10, 2019, with intent to supply it to another person.
Amoako was also said to have acquired, used or had possession of £680 in criminal cash.
He admitted both charges and the bench committed him to prison for six months in total but suspended for 18 months.
The defendant was ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work and pay a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.
The court made an order for the cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.
