HAVING read the article on garden furniture being left on the heath. I cannot comment on that.
However, why is there no litter bin on the newly planted and fenced-in small park near the lifting Bridge?
I went there on Wednesday morning. There were two black bags by the benches and some cans of drink on the benches.
There was no litter bin there. Why is this?
Also the zebra crossing coming out of St James is lethal. Cars and lorries wanting to get over the bridge to Hamworthy are speeding and do not stop.
Furthermore there are no speed cameras on the bridge and no speed limit signs.
Traffic to Poole comes at great speed. It is difficult to see the vehicles until they are almost over the bridge. The layout of this area is not good.
