EMERGENCY services have been called to a crash on the A351 in Wareham this afternoon - and road closures are in place.

The two vehicle crash has happened on the A351 at Gallows Hill Norden. 

A spokesperson for Dorset Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the A351 at Gallows Hill, Norden at 3.07pm for a two vehicle road traffic collision.

"Two crews from Swanage are in attendance, helping our colleagues from the ambulance service, with police also on scene. I believe there is one casualty in each vehicle."

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 3pm on Thursday, April 22 to a report of a two vehicle collision on East Street near Corfe Castle.

"Officers are currently on the scene with the fire and ambulance services.

"The road is closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident."

Purbeck Police said: "Emergency services are dealing with a two vehicle crash on the A351 near Norden Farm between Norden and the Halfway Inn. Road closures are in place, please avoid this area."
