FANCY adding some fairy-tale magic to your staycation this year?

These luxury treehouses that look like they could have come straight out of a children’s book can be found in the New Forest – and you can stay in them.

Shorefield Holidays has two treehouses available for people looking to get away from it all and unwind in unique surroundings.

Located at Shorefield Country Park in Milford on Sea, holidaymakers can choose between the Silvertree or Coppertree treehouses, both of which can sleep groups of up to six people.

Set below the tree canopy, the treehouses featuring turrets, quirky windows and double doors, are accessible via gently sloping timber walkways.

Both treehouses feature master bedrooms with freestanding bathtubs and monsoon showers.

Guests can also make the most of the wooden decking featuring an outdoor pizza oven, outdoor sun loungers, a gas BBQ and outdoor heaters.

There’s even a private hot tub to help you relax.

Managing director at Shorefield Holidays Simon Pollock said: “This treehouse project has been very exciting from start to finish, and has been many years in the making.

“It was really important to us that we created a unique bespoke design that allows our guests to embrace nature up close from within the tree canopy, but one that also would fit perfectly within an area of tree protection without harming the ecology of the site."

Director at Shorefield Holidays Sara Bertin said: "This interior design project has been our most challenging and exciting to date. We wanted to create a sophisticated cosy atmosphere with quirky references to the woodland, with accents of colour that reflected the names Silvertree and Coppertree. The pandemic and Brexit certainly tried to slow our construction work down, but the end result is truly spectacular and we hope that many unforgettable memories will be created.”

Managing Director at Shorefield Holidays Lesley Lawrence said: “These treehouses represent the pinnacle of our endeavour thus far and my late father Dr Robert Pollock, our founder, would be so proud. We are thrilled to now be able to offer this magical experience, and we cannot wait to hear what our guests have to say about it’.

Shorefield Holidays opened to guests on April 12 with social distancing and new safety measures in place.

The new treehouses are available to book now and open to guests on May 16.
