ARRESTS have been made after police discovered cannabis being cultivated at a home in north Dorset.

Police were called to an address in Gillingham on Friday where they discovered cannabis being cultivated at a home.

Arrests were made and cannabis and equipment used to grow the drug were seized.

A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "Acting on information, Gillingham and Shaftesbury neighbourhood officers attended a Gillingham address and discovered Cannabis being cultivated.

"This lead to arrests and seizures of cannabis and growing equipment.

"Enquiries are continuing into this matter and we encourage anyone with any concerns in relation to drugs in our area to please contact us or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
