YOUTHS as young as 12 are risking their lives by damaging a former school due for demolition.
Purbeck Police said they have been called to the Old Grammar School, near to Days Park in Swanage, on multiple occasions in recent days.
The site is in a dangerous condition and police said youths from school years 8-12 have been involved in vandalism.
Known trouble-makers dispersed in Sandbanks police patrols
A police spokesman said: "This week has seen multiple visits to the Old Grammar School near to Days Park. For those of you who are unaware this building will be due for demolition in the near future.
"The site is very dangerous. However, the local youths have been accessing the building by smashing windows, ripping off panels and putting themselves at risk and in danger of serious injury."
