THE NEW Forest has been named as the fifth best national park in the UK to watch the sunset from.
Personal and commercial vehicle leasing company Vanarama sifted through over 1,000 sunset posts on Instagram to reveal the best places to watch the sunset from ahead of staycations this summer.
The company ranked the New Forest at number five after finding 176 sunset posts on Instagram.
The area was only designated a national park in 2005, making it Britain's youngest protected reserve.
Compared to other national parks on the list, such as Dartmoor and the Lake District, the New Forest is the smallest of them all, covering an area of only 218 square miles.
According to Vanarama, the New Forest forms the backdrop of some of the most beautiful sunset snaps on their list.
