MOTORISTS returning to driving after lockdown have been urged to put safety first.
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council said there have been some "unusual collisions" as lockdown rules ease.
Unlicensed driver went the wrong way along the A31 at night
A spokesman said: "There have been some unusual collisions in our area involving vehicles flattening and hitting traffic signals. If you have recently returned to driving, please take some time to remind yourselves of the rules of the road, adjust to heavier traffic levels and watch your speed.
"As restrictions are lifted we want you to get out and about and enjoy yourselves, however safety must be the priority at all times."
