TWO girls were approached from behind by males who tried to snatch a mobile phone.
The girls were walking along Shelbourne Road in Charminster, Bournemouth at 11.45am on Monday April 12 when they became aware of two males behind them.
Man caught selling dangerous counterfeit perfume in Winton
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "One of them attempted to take a mobile phone from one of the girls. However, this was unsuccessful and nothing was stolen.
"The incident was reported to Dorset Police at 12.42pm on Monday by a member of the public who witnessed the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the report. No arrests have been made at this time."
