A SECOND man has been arrested following an incident involving a knife when blood was found at the scene in Holdenhurst Road.
As reported, Dorset Police was called at 4.27am on Saturday after a man was seen with a knife at an address in Holdenhurst Road.
An armed response attended the scene and a man was located in Wellington Road in possession of a knife and with cuts to his hands.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and was taken to hospital for injuries which were not life-threatening.
Providing an update, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “The man who was arrested in Wellington Road, who is 21 and from Bournemouth, was released on police bail.
“Another 21-year-old Bournemouth man has also been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and he has been released under investigation.”
