OFFICERS gave initial first aid to a skateboarder with a head injury in Duck Lane skatepark, before extracting him from his “precarious” position.
The incident happened on Saturday evening and the ambulance crew also attended.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: “Officers were flagged down this evening at Duck Lane skate park, to deal with a skateboarder in distress who had a badly broken his wrist and head injury.
“Initial first aid was given by our officers who then assisted with his careful extraction from his precarious position.
“Fantastic teamwork and plenty of good humour with SWAST. The gent involved is now on his way to hospital.”
