ONE more person has died with coronavirus at Dorset hospitals, latest figures show.
Data released by NHS England in its daily update shows one person died at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust with Covid-19.
The death came on April 8 and is the first Covid death in the county’s hospitals since March 31.
It means since the start of the pandemic, a total of 733 people have died at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
Elsewhere, 111 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital and 73 people have died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.
In hospitals across England, a further 33 people died with the virus, taking the total to 86,543.
The deaths date back to January 4, with two coming in the south west, taking the regions total to 4,483.
The region with the most newly recorded deaths was the north east and Yorkshire with 12.
