NO coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in hospitals in Dorset, latest figures show.
Figures released by NHS England indicate that no new deaths have been confirmed in the county’s hospitals in the last 24 hours.
The means the last person to have died with Covid-19 was reported on March 31 at the Dorset County Hospital.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 732 people have died at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust, 111 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital and 73 people have died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.
Nationally, a further 42 people who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 86,476.
The most recent reported death was on April 6, and two deaths came in the South West region.
