The Silent Woman Inn launches wedding space

The team behind the Silent Woman Inn has launched the Wareham Forest Weddings and Events space in Wareham Forest, adjacent to the pub, which was relaunched in September.

Organisers are collaborating with Coastal Tents, a marquee hire service based in Wareham, to provide a wedding and events space with a difference, showcasing two giant tipis made out of solid wooden poles grown in the forests of Sweden and light tan-coloured canvas.

With dates available throughout 2021 and 2022, the events service offers a space for couples whose plans have been disrupted by the Covid pandemic.

Operations director Rob Barr said: "With Covid-19 impacting so many aspects of our lives, we have worked hard to provide a Covid-secure wedding and events venue, along with a robust process if couples fo need to change dates. We can offer flexibility."

The wedding package includes exclusive hire of the events field in the heart of Wareham Forest with two giant tipis, all day access from 11am until midnight, seating for up to 100 guests, a dancefloor, and an events manager on the big day to make sure it all runs smoothly.

To celebrate the launch of the venue, the team are giving one couple the chance to win a wedding reception for up to 30 guests free of charge on Saturday, June 5 2021. Entries are open until April 18 and the winning couple will be announced on April 19.
