A POLICE officer was injured as he arrested a dangerous BMW driver who failed to stop in Bournemouth town centre
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle after seeing it being driven erratically in Old Christchurch Road.
The driver made off, travelling around Holdenhurst Road and Wellington Road before stopping in Lowther Road in Charminster.

The man then ran from the vehicle but was detained by an officer, who suffered an injury.
The incident took place at 5.50pm on Thursday March 4.
A man has been questioned about driving offences, taking a motor vehicle without consent and assaulting an emergency worker.
The arrested man, aged 26 and from Bournemouth, has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
