A motorist driving to Asda had his vehicle seized by police officers.
Police officers were out on patrol in North Dorset on Thursday, March 4, where they stopped multiple motorists for not paying vehicle tax or in possession of valid MOT certificates or insurance.
But officers came across one driver of a white vehicle in Gillingham who was on his way to Asda to 'buy some snacks'.
Police officers discovered the motorist did not have a driving licence, insurance, MOT or vehicle tax. The car was seized and the driver reported to court and the DVLA.
A spokesman for Dorset Police No Excuse said: "Last night we were 'oop North' of the county. Several cars were stopped for no tax, no MOT's and showing no insurance held.
"This car had the full house. The driver had taken his beloved just round the corner to Asda to buy some snacks.
"The driver admitted to having no driving licence, no insurance, no MOT and no tax. Vehicle seized, driver reported to court and the DVLA.
