A MAN was stabbed during a disturbance involving a group of men at an address in Poole.

Police were called to Albert Road at 1.41am on Saturday, March 6.

A man in his 30s was found with injuries to his head and back, as well as a stab wound to his leg.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not life-threatening.

Police have launched an investigation following the incident with officers carrying out enquiries at the scene.

Two men from Bournemouth aged 18 and 36 have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent along with a 19-year-old man from Poole. 

They are all currently assisting detectives with their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Andrew Kennard, of Bournemouth CID, said: “An investigation is underway into the incident and officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries at the scene.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the Albert Road area around the relevant time and may have seen or heard anything that may assist my enquiries to please get in touch.

“I would also like to ask anyone who may have relevant dashcam or home CCTV footage to please come forward.”
