A POOLE road will close for nearly four weeks, seven days a week, as gas works take place.
BCP Council has published a public notice informing residents that Flaghead Road will close, starting on March 15.
The public notice said: “Road closed to all vehicles, no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading at any time from its junction with Haven Road to the junction with Cliff Drive and Bessborough Road.”
The closure will be in place from March 15 until April 2 to allow JDT utilities to complete gas mains replacement works.
A diversion will be in place from Haven Road, Cliff Drive onto Flaghead Road.
Emergency services access will still be maintained.
The notice added: “Access for residents will be maintained depending on site safety. Residents will be informed by letter with further details.
“These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
