SAY hello to these adorable babies bringing joy to proud parents and excited siblings during the coronavirus pandemic.

Three lock-downs and stringent rules and guidelines have meant it's been a difficult and anxious time for many couples expecting babies.

But these pictures show it has all been worth it for 12 local families.

Becky Mitchell and Jamie Trevillion  welcomed lockdown baby Mia Maddison Trevillion, on 21/11/20 at Poole Hospital, weighing 8lbs 5oz. “She was born during the second lockdown but completed 2020 for us”, they said.

And born on the first day of the second lockdown on 05/11/2020 Nellie-Rae Philippa Hulse arrived at Poole hospital, weighing 6lb 2oz to mum Ebony Rae Hulse who said:"I couldn’t thank the midwives and doctors enough for what they did for Nellie-Rae and I!"

So we welcome these cute newborns, who came into the world in Dorset in very unprecedented circumstances, oblivious to it all.

Big congratulations to you from us and a warm welcome to all your new arrivals as they enter the world and grow stronger.

Why not share your happy news and photos with readers and create a keepsake which your little one can look back on in years to come?
