I SEE that notices are appearing on local heathland telling dog owners that they must keep dogs on short leads for the next six months.

Strangely have not seen any telling cyclists to only keep to main existing paths and not go cross country or to sound bells when racing up the bridleways to warn people they are there.

To these could be added slow down and be aware of basking reptiles as last year with the lockdown numbers were recorded dead with tyre marks on them.
