I AGREE wholeheartedly with your correspondent Mr Moyes.
Who on earth decided upon the latest madness to adorn our streets.
Painted roads, unnecessary steel objects, the costs must have been eye watering. Leave Hunger Hill alone, it’s fine as it is.
We have also had to put up with that other monstrosity on the quay which looked its best when covered up for renovation.
We are now to be subjected to a whole new system of road layout.
This is to assist cyclists and pedestrians, where are they?
I travel along West Quay Road frequently and find it is so difficult to avoid the hordes of pedestrians and cyclists who use it since the new road layout. So we can expect more of the same.
The plans for Hamworthy are dreadful, sort out the traffic light system first and deal with potholes, and please, for heaven’s sake, no more so-called art.
