FIVE more people have died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals, latest figures have confirmed.

Data released by NHS England shows five people died with the virus at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust.

Three came on February 24 while the other two occurred on February 23.

It means since the start of the pandemic, a total of 659 people have died with the virus at UHD.

A total of 105 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital and 70 people have died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.

In hospitals across England, a further 307 people died with the virus, taking the total to 82,717.

Patients were aged between 34 and 100-years-old and all but nine had underlying health conditions.

The deaths date back to November 3 and 21 came in the south west.
