A JOINT operation involving Dorset Police and the Metropolitan Police has led to more than 150 wraps of suspected class A drugs being seized in Dorset.

The investigation, which is being led by specialist offices from the Met, was part of efforts to disrupt suspected county lines drug dealers operating in the Poole and Bournemouth area.

Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Dilworth, of Dorset Police, said: “We are committed to working with other forces to tackle the activity of suspected county lines drugs network that operate in our area.”

Dorset Police reported that following fast-time enquiries, two men were arrested in the area of Poole Bus Station shortly after 12pm on Tuesday, February 23.

Officers also executed a warrant at an address in Ashley Road in Boscombe and three further arrests were made, the force said.

A Dorset Police spokesman said more information about the force's work to tackle suspected county lines operations and how to spot the signs that someone may be being exploited by these networks is available at dorset.police.uk/county-lines.
