POLICE investigating catapult attacks on cars and properties in Verwood have seized items from a car and its occupants.
Officers followed up reports of a suspicious vehicle after appealing for information about the incidents.
An East Dorset Police spokesman said a vehicle was stopped and items seized which are believed to relate to the criminal damage activities.
A spokesman said: "Our enquiries will continue and this stop check will have disrupted their activities. We will continue to follow up on reports and target those believed to be involved."

There have been several reports of damage to vehicles, homes and businesses.
The spokesman added: "They have to pay for the damage to be rectified themselves as the cost most of the time is below any insurance excess limit.
"Many victims are left feeling, angry, frustrated or even scared as a result of these incidents."
Police have urged people with information to call them on 101.
