MARINERS have been advised that military parachute training will occur in Poole Harbour this month.
The training will start from tomorrow, Monday, February 8 and will end on Friday, February 12, lasting throughout the coming week.
From February 8 to 12, all training will occur between 10am and 3pm.
The positions of the parachutists will have a voluntary exclusion/safety zone of a 1000 yard radius and mariners are advised, where practical, to keep clear whilst training is underway.
Safety boats will be operating during these times to offer advice and information to anyone who may need it.
