MANY of us miss pubs more than ever right now – but there are some watering holes we've missed for a while longer.
Here are a selection of Poole's lost but not forgotten pubs of the past:

The Jolly Miller on Falkland Square in 1975.

The Beehive at 234 Sandbanks Road, Lilliput. The pub closed in the late 1990s and has since been demolished.

Ansty Arms in 1975. The watering hole has been demolished and is now part of Falklands Square.

Guildhall Tavern at 15 Market Street in 2005. The venue is now a restaurant.

The Potters Arms on Blandford Road in 2013. The watering hole closed in 2015.

Shipwrights Arms, Poole Quay in 1975.

Darbys Corner Inn at 2 Waterloo Road in 2011.

Sandacres on Banks Road in 2012. The pub closed in October 2012

The Retreat pub on Ashley Road in 1982. The venue has been demolished and a Waitrose store has taken its place.

The Sea View Hotel on Ashley Road in 2015. The pub closed on 2019 and made way for flats and a Co-op store.
