MOTORISTS have been urged to be on their guard following the theft of catalytic converters in the West Moors and West Parley areas.
East Dorset police said Hondas and Toyotas are being targeted.
A spokesman said: "If possible, park the rear of your vehicle close to fences, walls or a kerb or keep your vehicle in a garage. Alternatively, aim to park in a well-lit and well-populated area."

Anyone affected is urged to report the theft on 101 or at dorset.police.uk/do-it-online
If a crime is in progress, dial 999.
