SIXTEEN further coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals.
In the latest data released by the Government this afternoon, it confirmed that in the past 24 hours, 16 people had been recorded as dying from Covid-19 at University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
No deaths were recorded at either Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust or Dorset County Hospital.
Yesterday, four deaths were recorded.
Since the start of the pandemic, 656 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 across Dorset hospitals
In total, University Hospitals Dorset has recorded 352 deaths, and Dorset Healthcare University 53.
Dorset County Hospitalremains on 76.
Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital reported 68 and 107 deaths respectively prior to the hospitals merger in October.
