DRIVERS offered MOT extensions during the first lockdown must all have their cars tested by the end of this month.
Police have issued a warning as the deadline approaches.
Garages were closed in the first lockdown with all those whose MOTs were due between March 30 and July 31 offered a six-month extension.
Now those whose tests are due now have been warned to make an appointment early because there may be a backlog.

Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team issued a fixed penalty notice yesterday to a driver without a valid MOT.
A spokesman said: "Given the weather, it is even more essential your vehicle is in good working order to keep you safe.
"We get a lot of calls from the public reporting people for not having a valid MOT certificate.
"Unsure as to whether your MOT is valid? Then please visit the gov.uk website."
