RESIDENTS are being asked to give their views on BCP Council's draft Sex Establishment Policy.
The policy will allow the council to control and regulate the operation of sex establishments across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Theses businesses fall into three categories: sex shops, sexual entertainment venues and sex cinemas.
The proposed policy sets out issues such as the licence application process and the grounds for refusing an application.
This does not include refusal on the grounds of moral/values objections as the activities are permitted by the legislation.
Views are sought on the proposed policy and in particular the character and locality of licenced premises.
