Cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates in November:

TIMOTHY ROGERS, aged 52, of Essex Square, Harnham, pleaded guilty to intentionally causing harassment, alarm or distress through words or behaviour in Salisbury on September 20. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £40.

DARRELL MILLER-FIRTH, aged 29, of Jellalabad Barracks and Tidworth, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On October 10 he was driving a Kia Sportage along the A338 in Tidworth with 69 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £340 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months.

HARRY WATERMAN, aged 22, of Shelley Lane, Ower, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving. The incident took place on November 3, 2019, when Waterman was driving a Citroen Berlingo along St. Anne’s Street in Salisbury. He also pleaded guilty to not possessing the appropriate policy of insurance. The defendant is under a curfew for six weeks and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

RAMESH MANOHAR, aged 33, of Lapwing Close, Houndstone, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On May 18 he was driving a BMW along the A303 in Amesbury with 67 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £715 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £72 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Heard at Swindon Magistrates:

JONATHAN COX, aged 37, of Barnard Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On December 25, 2019, Cox was driving a Mercedes along Marshmead Close in Salisbury with Benzoylecgonine, the main metabolite of cocaine, in his blood - 128 micrograms of drug per litre of blood. Diazepam was also in his blood. Cox was fined £90 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and costs of £45. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months.

CHRISTOPHER HEWITT, aged 69, of Livery Road, Farley, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On March 10 he was driving a Volvo Van along Clarendon Road in Salisbury with 43 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £133 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
