THE PERFECT word for 2020 is " Anno horribilis" { Horrible year}.
In Her Christmas speech, our Queen said:"... a year that has necessarily kept people apart... ".
In the same sentence she said:"... Remarkably... in many ways brought us closer... ".
No doubt, we have a greater appreciation for each other and work together like never before.
This is something we will all need after Brexit.
We have a bit of a culture change, perhaps the birth of " The Big Society" ( Dave Cameron's speech in 2004).
This is a mystery, out of bad things, good ones come about.
As a New Year resolution, hold unto the good an pray for " Septem Annos Fertilitatis" {Good years} to ensue.
