A TREE crashed down into three properties in Corfe Mullen in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fire services were called to Towers Way after a tree collapsed and hit through the roof of two flats and the garage of a second building.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We took a call at 3.32am.
“One officer and a fire engine from Poole attended.
“The stop message came at 4.15am”
The spokesperson confirmed there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
Dorset Council's building control manager was called to the property at 5am.
Building firm KDW Property Services also attended, along with tree surgeon Ollie Nascoe Arborist.
The gas and electricity were turned off, with the first floor flat sustaining the majority of the damage.
The ground floor flat had some water damage.
Once the properties were made safe, and the tenants moved out, the tree surgeon could begin work on removing the fallen tree.
The builders could then begin repairing the damage to the roof and were expected to be there for most the day.
