MONOMANIA and panic have now gripped the politicians like a vice.
The measures the government are implementing (often based on spurious modelling and dubious statistics) are destructive and disproportionate.
The supposed cure is now worse than the disease. Our constitutional rights and liberties are being trashed; our economy destroyed; the mental health of millions is at breaking point; people are dying of untreated medical conditions and the future generation is being saddled with an unpayable debt.
Save the NHS? Public services will end up decimated. We simply won’t be able to afford them. What a legacy to leave our future generation. In perpetual servitude to debt. The politicians (unaffected by any personal economic hardship at taxpayers’ expense) have failed us utterly.
