A SECTION of the A35 was closed this morning following a single-vehicle crash.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Morden Park corner near to the Bloxworth turning.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the collision shortly after 7.30am.
The road was closed in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
A woman who was driving the vehicle involved sustained minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 7.34am on Thursday , December 17, to a report of a single vehicle collision on the A35 at Morden Park corner near to the Bloxworth turning.
"Officers are on the scene with the fire and ambulance services. The road was closed.
"The female driver has sustained minor injuries."
A spokesperson for Purbeck Police said the road reopened at around 8.50am.
