These pictures from September 1990 show when smiling teenagers packed into a Moordown school hall to let their hair down in safety
More than 200 children aged between eight and 14 bopped the night away at the Blue Light Disco in St John's School Hall.
The night out was organised by Dorset Police and Netline Mobile Phones of Moordown.
A spokesman for Dorset Police told the Echo at the time that the event had been very successful.
