ELDERLY residents in north Dorset villages are being targeted by fraudsters who try to obtain their bank details.
Police said they received several calls from the Iwerne Minster, Charlton Marshall and Hilton areas telling them about a bogus caller claiming to be from Dorchester police.

The callers asked for bank details and said they were investigating a fraud.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "Police and banks will never ask for account details. Please let your family and friends know that if they get a call to hang up and do not call any numbers they provide."
