WORK to cut down a “dangerous” tree along a busy Dorset road will take place today.
The tree on the A35 at Bere Regis will be felled from around 12noon.

Works to fell a dangerous tree will commence midday today for around two hours.
Stop/go boards will be in use, and there will be a period of five to ten minutes when traffic will have to be stopped between A31 Shell Roundabout and Poole Hill Roundabout. pic.twitter.com/4fwXDX7LnL
The work is expected to take place for around two hours.
Traffic will have to be stopped for a short period of time as a result.
Travel Dorset, Dorset Council’s traffic channel on Twitter, said: “Stop/go boards will be in use, and there will be a period of five to ten minutes when traffic will have to be stopped between A31 Shell Roundabout and Poole Hill Roundabout.”
