JUST 32 coronavirus cases were recorded across Dorset in the last 24 hours, latest figures show.

In the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on December 3, BCP Council recorded 18 coronavirus cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, it means there has now been 7,305 cases confirmed in BCP.

In the week leading up to November 28, 339 cases were recorded, giving a rolling infection rate of 85.8 per 100,000.

In the Dorset Council area, 14 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 3,269.

The rolling rate in Dorset stood at 44.1, with 167 cases recorded in the seven days before November 28.

Yesterday, 92 cases were recorded across Dorset.

Elsewhere, 32 cases were recorded in the New Forest, taking the total 1,868 since the start of the pandemic.

In the week leading up to November 28, 73 cases were recorded, a rolling rate of 40.5 per 100,000.
