YOUR recent article Bournemouth one of easiest places to park in UK.
I have been visiting Hengistbury Head for many years.
I am now of pensionable age and I am now being discriminated against for not being able to pay for the car park and hence denied access to the headland.
I always have a pocket of cash ( Queens currency ) and a basic mobile for emergency only.
I do not process modern technologies for payment as I have been unfortunate by being scammed and hacked on more than one occasion.
The authority will only say there is no pay and display due to theft issues and that I can park across the road for only 30 minutes.
It takes around an hour and half to walk the headland with out a rest.
This is a strong case for deprivation and discrimination..
