Salisbury District Hospital is currently dealing with a Covid-19 outbreak, it has been confirmed.
Four patients have tested positive for coronavirus in the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre.
According to the hospital, all inpatients and staff in the 42-bed centre have been tested.
However, visitors are not allowed as a precaution.
Judy Dyos, Director of Nursing at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, said: "We are currently managing an outbreak of COVID-19 at the self-contained Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre, where four patients have tested positive for COVID-19.
"We have taken swift appropriate action, in line with national guidance, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff at the Centre in order to prevent further spread of the virus.
"Patients are being closely monitored, COVID-19 testing for all inpatients and staff in the centre has been carried out in line with national guidance from PHE and wellbeing support is being provided.
"As a precautionary measure the Centre has been temporarily closed to visitors."
The Spinal Treatment Centre cares for patients paralysed following spinal cord injury or non-progressive spinal cord disease.
