POLICE searching for a "very upset" missing man have appealed for information from the public.

Brett North, 41, was last in contact with friends and family just before 5pm yesterday. He has not returned to his address in St Swithun’s Road, Bournemouth.

He is described as white, six feet once inch tall, with short blond hair and blue eyes. He is driving a Hyundai car with the registration EJ06 TRX.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “We are aware that Brett has been very upset lately and we are now becoming increasingly concerned for him. It is important that we locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“It is possible that Brett has travelled to the Wiltshire area and officers are carrying out a number of searches and enquiries in a bid to locate him. I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact police immediately.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Brett – if you see this, please make contact with us as we just want to make sure you are OK.”
