A MAN caught speeding at 80mph on a dual carriageway in Poole has appeared in court.
Joseph Nabil, aged 44, was at the wheel of a Fiat car on the Dorset Way on October 23, 2019, and travelling well above the 50mph limit.
Appearing before magistrates in Poole on November 23, Nabil, whose address was given as Westover Road, Bournemouth, admitted the speeding offence.
The defendant also admitted speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone while at the wheel of a Seat in Hurn Road, Christchurch on July 23, 2019.
He was fined £160 and disqualified from driving for six months for the motoring offences.
In addition, Nabil pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order on April 8 by phoning a woman's place of work.
For this crime he was issued with a community order, handed a new restraining order and told to pay a £90 surcharge.
