OBSCENE graffiti has been scrawled over equipment at a north Dorset play area.
Parents taking their children to the Balmer Road park in Blandford have also found broken glass.
Now police have pledged to step up patrols and have urged people in the community to report anti-social behaviour.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "This is not an appropriate meeting place for youths in the late evening or early hours of the morning and officers will be patrolling the area and dealing appropriately with any offences they find."
