FIVE more patients in Dorset hospitals with coronavirus have died, latest data shows.

Figures released by NHS England shows five people died with the virus in Dorset Hospitals on November 18.

Four of these deaths came at the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals and one came at Poole Hospital.

It means the total number of deaths for Dorset hospitals now stands are 96 for Poole Hospital, 87 for the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, 25 for the Dorset County Hospital and 23 for the Dorset Healthcare University Trust.

Yesterday, one death was confirmed at Poole Hospital.

Across England, a further 326 people died in hospital with coronavirus, taking the total to 37,796.

Patients were aged between 29 and 100 years old and all but six had underlying health conditions.

20 of the deaths came in the south west.
