A CAR seized in a New Forest town was full of stolen garden power tools.
Officers seized the suspicious vehicle in Ringwood on Saturday night after information that it may be linked to a business burglary in Bournemouth.
A spokesman for Ringwood police said: "On searching the vehicle, officers discovered 11 garden power tools which had been stolen from a storage container in Bournemouth over the weekend.
"We have worked closely with our Dorset counterparts and can now confirm that the tools have been returned to their rightful owner.
"This is a great time to remind local residents about the importance of recording serial numbers of your property. This will assist us in returning property to you in the event that it is stolen.
"As always, please remain vigilant and continue to report any crimes which are in progress or where there is a threat to life by calling 999."
