MEET the latest bunch of new arrivals welcomed to Dorset amid the coronavirus pandemic.

These tiny tots were born at St Mary’s Maternity Unit in Poole Hospital and at home between March and November this year.

Tara Brown, mother to Tyra, said her contractions started after laughing at an episode of The Slow-Mo Guys.

Tyra was born only two and a half hours later after being a long-awaited baby.

Ralph was born one week after lockdown in March began, according to mum Sian Hilling.

She said: "In what was a scary time, we had the most positive experience in Poole Maternity Hospital."

We’re celebrating all your babies born in 2020 in our special New Arrivals page every Thursday in print and online.
